A nice full shot of most of the costume. I'm so happy to have been able to finally do this.
So construction notes...
As always everything was made by and worn by me. The armor is one of my favorite parts of the costumes. It took a good week to make and has a cool paint job to it that makes it change colors in different lighting. Every single gem on the costume was casted too. Some were casted multiple times due to me being an idiot. lol. But the casted resin gems give the costumes something special that you can't do with opaque paint. My dagger, not really shown here, was made by bf and it looks really awesome!
Overall this is one of my comfiest and fun-est costumes to wear. I'm still surprised that so many people recognize such an old school character, but I guess the classics are classics for a reason!!
