Well, here is the first half of my portion of the art trade with Evilyardgnome. The other half, well the color version, might be up tonight. If not, tomorrow evening for sure. Not sure how long this one is gonna take to color in PS. I hope that the line art was the most time consumeing - about 4 hours. Oi. I know, I know. I bet many of you could have done this in less time, but to go over all the lines with ink many, many times takes more time than you think.
I hope that Evilyardgonme like this. She did such a wonderful job on her part, that I hope that she finds mine just as nice. Not to mention that no one has ever done her character in a manga/anime style, makes me nervous on how she will like it.
Oh I forgot.... silly me. This is Cervantes from Soul Calibur (young obviously) and Melinda, Evilyardgonme's original character. I know she has a fanfic going on about the romance between them. So if you are interested, head over to her page and drop her a line!
------------ Pencil and ink. A little clean up in PS since I was a retard and smeared the ink in a few places. >.<
Yea-ers! I'm so glad that you liked it. I was worried that it was a little too-mushy-love-ie for you or for your characters. I just assume that if they are in love, there has to be a moment like this somewhere in their relationship. Also, I'm gald that I wan't the only one who liked the line art. Oh the flowiness.....
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you like the lining because that is what took the longest! I love flowiness of lines. Again thank you for the comment.
I have just seen this part of the pic so far (since I figured I'd better look at the lineart first) and I am SO amazed! Ah! Ah! I shall scream again!
AAAHHHH! *goes nuts*
This is awesome. Melinda is gorgeous. And Cervy! He's so compassionate and bishi-ish! And the hair...I can't beleive how beautiful the hair is. O.O
*runs away to look at coloured version/make a much bigger comment*
