Artist's Comments

Woo-hoo! I have finally made a decent drawing of one of my orginal characters.

So yea, this is one of my characters that I created a little over year ago in class and I must say she is one of the more badass ones. Don't have much of a background story as much as I do a concept. She is an trained killer or something along thoes lines and one of her favorite ways to kill people is to sleep with them and then kill them. She has some issues. She drinks, she smokes, she kills. In other words your average kick ass male character and a sexy female roled into one.

Will be coloring or something to that effect since she is mostly black and white. I haven't decide to go colored pencil or ink and pencil. What do you think? Also, will submit this to scraps once it is finished.

Finally, Credit goes to Garbage for the title of the piece.

Hahaha! I like sex!

Um... critique wise, I'd say that maybe the hands are a bit small (er, worked in pen, just keep in in mind for next time!), but otherwise, your understanding of anatomy is coming along nicely.

One thing I do when I'm drawing, is flip the paper over (or look at it in a mirror) and double-check my proportions since I might be focusing too much on the details, and not so much how it fits with the overall figure/composition.

Just some advice! =)

Like James Bond, sept his weekness IS sex,

like rolfy,
she is female, so make the hips bigger, in mature, more pernounced badass female characters, the hips are usually level with or farther out than the shoulder, otherwise it's really badass.... like Dante.... :fliry:

FINALLY, a hardcore heroin! This is what the world needs more of. Guys take too much credit. :-) Cool character design!

 The hands...oh the hands. Hands are my enemy. It was especially hard for me to do this piece since a. I have never drawn anybody holding a gun. and b. I have never held a gun so I have no idea how the hands fall on it. I tried to image and look at some photos of people, but yea, no luck. I just keep telling myself they are better than box hands like I use to do.

One thing that I have been doing lately to help the realism, or anatomy aspect, is makeing wire models of the people and then drawing over thoes. I have found that to help, also drawing the whole charcter with no detail first helps too. I need to try that fliping it over thing. Never thought of that so I must give it a try.

Thanks for tips/advice and of course the comment and view. ;P
