I have been rather absent the last few weeks or so and I do apologize. Finals are commencing and I'm trying to prepare for Fanime too boot. The good news, I have only one more semester and then I'm DONE with college. 5 1/2 years later and it is about damn time!! It will be nice to finally be to go home and not have to think about school. Yea!

Fanime is in what... TOO SOON!!! I have been working my butt off getting costumes finished and preparing for the masquerade. I still have tons and tons of work left, but hopefully I can make some good headway this week! Wish me luck.

Here is tentative cosplay line for the weekend.

Friday:
Masquerade costume :: AM (until about 1pm)
Mink from Dragon Half in :: PM (until ~whenever)

Saturday:
Masquerade costume all day

Sunday:
Laurel from 's Heaven System series :: Early AM
Trish from Devil May Cry 4 :: Late AM to Mid PM
Mitsuki from He is my Master :: Late PM

Other costumes I might bring and try to wear:
Honey from Ouran High School Host Club
Lina Inverse (Otome no Inori version)

W00t w00t, It is finally spring break for me! I'm so happy. School has been hellish with loads of work and tests this semester, so I'm relieved to finally have a break. I plan to get lots of work done on costumes and commissions. They have been building up. >.<


In other news, I updated my site with lots of new stuff! Lots of pictures added that I have never posted on DA of Pirotess, Mitsuki, and Lina Inverse. I also added a new tutorial on wig care since I seem to get wig questions a lot. The media section was also updated with new videos and published appearances. Wow guys, 20,000 hits!?
How crazy is that!! Just a few month's ago I broke over 10,000 so I'm totally blown away. Thank you guys for your support, encouragement, and interest in my cosplays and art work. For you guys, I uploaded a collage of all my costumes I have done over the years. I know a few I have never uploaded images of, but I might in the next few weeks that will change. I wish I had something better to post for you guys. ;__;


WonderCon 08 is next week. That came up quick. It seems like just last week I started my new costumes. lol. Wondercon is my "home" con because it was the first con I ever attended back in 2006, so it holds a special place for me. I will be debuting two new costumes for this con, which is always fun and exciting. yea! *dances*

p.s. OMGZ Devil May Cry 4 fucking rocks. Yes it does. My socks are official rocked and are dead on the bedroom floor, wincing in rocked pain. If you haven't played it yet, go do it. NOW. And if you haven't played DMC1 or DMC3 go play those first and then play DMC4. Are you playing yet!?

After gathering input on what you want, and writing the tutorials, I have finally updated Windofthestars.com!!

It has a super fancy new layout, that I think is easier to navigate and such then the previous one. Simplicity is usually best! Plus this layout finally *GASP* features one of my costumes. I mean it is my cosplay site. lol.

I also updated lots of things, like adding new pictures and info my new costume Lina Inverse! Also added new tutorials like I stated, new links, banners, publications, gift art, pictures and a lot more.

Please keep checking back for updates and such since I'm going to be better about adding more content on there.

ALA was a blast and I feel really lucky that I was able to go. I got to debut a cosplay that I have been working for the last 2-ish months. Slayers is one of my fav animes ever so I was really excited and thrilled to do this character. Lina Inverse for the EPIC win! Lol I will upload more pictures later, but for right now my preview pic will have to satisfy your palettes.

Thank to those of you that asked for commissions. Now that I'm back in town I will begin on those and should have them done before I go back to school. If you sent me a note and I haven't replied yet send me another one as I tend to be forgetful. Sorry about that!

So this weekend is Sac-Anime. If you will be in attendance feel free to stop by. I'll be in Lina garb, along with one new costume that I didn't finish for ALA.
