No Scanner? Well crap...

I have been itching to draw lately. Tonight I finally sat down and made a point to do so. I drew something that I really like, but since my computer crashed last July I hadn't re-installed Windows/Boot Camp back on my Mac. What does that mean? It means that I can't scan a damn single drawing until I do so. My scanner is older and no drivers for the Mac exists for it, so I'm left with having to have Window just so I can scan. -___- Not-to-mention I can't find my copy of Windows XP anywhere. LAME. I guess I'll just continue drawing so I'll have a whole slew of stuff to post the following week.

In other news, thank you to all and any that voted for me on the ACP Gurren Lagann contest. I didn't expect a win at all. I was very flattered and surprised by the results. Also, congrats to all the other winners too! :D

If you have a registered copy of XP you can contact Microsoft online and request a replacement disc and ID - probably even download a copy of it from online. I'm not sure how you'd need to prove that you owned a copy though. But it's worth looking into. I saw your costumes, didn't realize it was for a contest though, congrats. :) Hope to see those drawings soon.

That was mega awesome that you won the contest, I was rooting for you! I had some scanner problems too, cause I got some cheap Microtek which is good dont get me wrong, but they refuse to make Vista drivers, so I have to have it connected to my laptop to scan (which only has one working USB port) plug that in, scan, then plug in my thumb drive, removed it and plug it into my main comp, then plug the mouse back in... ug

Thanks! And yes I am. Though I don't know where the scanners are anymore! They made a new library and even finding books in that place is hard. lol.
