Fair well my love...

I don't talk much about my personal life here, because really this journal isn't for that. But, ever once in a blue moon I have a reason to post something a little more dear to my heart.

My wonderful and perfect cat Mattie had to be put down today. Since July we have been battling a stomach tumor (or at least that is what we believe it was at this point. No way of know unless we opened her up). This last week she re-lapsed and took a serious turn for the worse. It got to the point where it was a quality of life issue and I didn't want her to be in pain any longer. She was only about 7, and I only had for 5 of those seven years. I was hoping to have her until I was in my thirties!! She is in a better place now, and is no longer suffering.

So this moment is for you my sweet cat. I'll miss you.

oh right it was blue moon last month but anyway these things happen like I've seen saying all the time it can't be altered. It will happen in everyone's lifetime I know one of my kittens didn't make it because she had a bad sicness that the cures made it worse and she didn't make it if I remember she was little over a year or less.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that. :hug: I know what you're going through, I had to do the same with my dog some years ago...and it was tough. But keep her in your heart and you will be ok.

Another kitty has return to the heavens... You have my sincerest condolences. My doggy of 7 years died last week so I know the loss all to well.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet. I've lost many over the years and it never gets any easier. My heart goes out to you. :hug:

I know what it's like having a cat as a best friend... My cat Nick is my best friend, he always greets me when I come, and sleeps in my bed with me. I don't want to think about what it'd be like if he were to die... *teardrop* My girlfriend broke up with me on friday... (Though I imagine that pales in comparison to losing a kitty...)
